Changes

Abby is growing faster and afaster before my eyes. I took her to her new doctor last week and she weighed 11 lbs. and 12 oz., and she 23 inches long. The doctor said that she is on the right track according to the growth chart. She is starting to get more into a routine and I just love that. She is now completly in Ava's bedroom or Ava and abby's bedroom. They do great in there together...very rarely do they wake each other up which is great. She slept all night last Thursday for the first time. Of course it has not happened since but hopefully soon. She is begining to bable a little bit and smiles constanly ecspecially at me and the kids.

Abram John's Baptism

Sunday August 30, 2009, my godson Abram John was baptized. He was a little loud throughout the whole event but I guess he thought he needed to make his prescence known. It was a beautiful cermony. I am blessed to have been asked by Casey and Jill to his Godmother or what he will call me, Nanny Rae!!!

Ava turns 2

I can't believe that 2 years have already come and gone. Ava brings so much energy and excited to our family. She is getting so big and more beautiful by the day. On her birthday we decided to make it about her...we decided after church we would go to the park becuase it was so nice and then to Raising Canes for dinner. The kids really enjoyed it and so did Josh and myself!!

Ava's Birthday Party

Ava had a blast at her birthday party. We had a lady named Dorthy and her shaky egg band come and sing songs and play her guitar for us. The kids loved it. It took Ava a little bit to get into it but she enventually got into and started dancing.

New Happenings...

This morning I took Ava to school, like I usually do, but this time was different....she waved bye to me as I left. Normally she has been crying before I even get parked. It could have been a fluke but it was great to see that she knew she was OK.



I put Ava and Abby down for a nap in the same and room and they did wonderfully. Abby even woke up for a little bit and did not even wake Ava up. I put Abby back down and they slept wonderfully.

Josh's cousin Brandon got married this weekend in Lake Charles. We had a blast and know the kids had a blast as well. It was nice to be around the whole family and pretty much all of us there!!!Mason and John--Best Cousins!!

Wow...3 months!!

I took Abby to have her 3 month portraits taken this week. She did such a great job, as you can tell!! She is smiling so much more now and even at the kids sometimes! She is beginning to focus on more objects and growing like a weed. i weighed her and she now weighs about 12 pounds. She is sleeping more at night and goes sometimes about 6 hours in between feedings at night. She goes 4 hours during the day. She is showing a little more personality and is it the cutest thing!!!

Starting school...

Mason started school today and was so excited. he stood outside and waited for the bus 30min early. Josh and I followed the bus to school so that we could take him to his class. It just felt a little weird putting him on the big yellow bus and sending him off. He came home and told us all about it. He can't wait to go back on Thursday!!
