Quick Learner!!

i have notice that the 3rd child has a tendency to catch on to things alot quicker than the second. I found Abby today with the other Wii controller pretending to play along side her brother. She was really getting into too. She really thought she was playing.Battling her Mason on Wii!!

"I know what to do"

"Journey Back in Time"

Mason had a field trip that came to the school today that was called "Journey Back in Time". It was hands on activities from back in pioneer times. The kids really enjoyed it and I enjoyed watching them! Washing clothes

Sifting corn

Shaving...and yes he is using a butter knife!!!!

Rah! Rah ! Rah!

This past Sunday, Ava and I got a call from Aunt Heidi telling us that Natalie (Josh's cousin) was performing in a Cheerleading Competition at LSU and wanted to see if me and Ava would like to go. I gladly said yes and Ava was thrilled. Heidi thought it would be cool to make posters for the competition. Neither Heidi or myself have ever been to one of these and had no idea what they did. I brought my paint and we began to paint some signs like an hour before we had to leave. LOL! Ava really had fun helping us and did an awesome job! The whole to LSU Ava kept asking where was Natalie...she just was so thrilled. We finally got there and Natalie came out and Ava's eyes just lit up. She though it was so neat that Natalie could do all of those tumbles (she did a little more than just tumbles..but that is what Ava's saw). Natalie came to sit with us after her routine and Ava was just mesmerized with her.

I know I seem to be rambling, but i really enjoyed the time with Ava and doing something different. She was so very good and I treated her to some popcorn and she enjoyed eating herself and sharing it with Aunt Monica. Ava and I don't get much one on one time together and I really enjoyed it.

Congrats to Natalie's group for winning 1st place!!!!!!!

I am not quite sure what Ava is looking at, but this was the best picture we could get!!!
