Trike-a-thon

Back at the begining of April, Ava's school held a Trike-a-thon and the kids brouhgt there bikes from home to ride. They were also asked to bring a can good item for the Zachary food Pantry. So we brought our canned item and our bike which we decorated to make a little girly. You see like most kids, bikes are handme downs until they get a little older to have a new one. Ava is currently riding Mason's old Saints bike with training wheels. It is a little boyish so we had to girly it up...adding pink and purple tulle did just the trick!! She had so much fun riding her bike at school...as did all the kids!!Heading out to school Off we go to the parking lot!!!

Fashion Show

Ava was in the ZFest fashion show in Zachary last month. She was able to participate because she received and award at the beauty pageant the weekend before. So of course, we got to get dressed up again, but only this time it was in springy attire and a lot more casual and fun. I was going to stand with her on stage, but she shooed me away and told me that she want to go by herself. I was so proud and not surprised that she wanted to go on the stage all by herself. She did a great job and had fun!!

Baseball is here!!

Mason has started on a new baseball team this year. This team is giving more instruction on the game and Mason is picking it up well. I think he is really enjoying it too. He plays outfield most of the time but he has played 3rd base and pitcher occasionally. He has been hitting really well and has hit a triple in the second game. He mostly enjoys being able to slide into home plate...but what boy doesn't??!!?? Ready for his first game Look at that form!!!

Has to get those pants visibly dirty....not so great for Mommy who has to clean them!!

Mom and Me Princess Tea Party

Back in April, Ava had a tea party for the 3 year old girls and their Mom's at the school. We sat down and hat hats and pearls to wear and ate sandwiches and cupcakes and split into groups for the centers they had set up. They had a princess movie, coloring, baby and me tea party, story time, and glam center. Ava had lots of fun expect with the meltdown, because she forgot to bring her baby. eventually she got over it and had a good time!!She was excited because her hat matched her dress All the yummy goodies.

Ava loved this station...she got to pretend to have a tea party with baby dolls. She also got upset at this station because she had to share the tea set.
