Swimming lessons

I took Mason to Swimming lessons this year and he did awesome. I can now take the kids to the pool and know that he is ok...but I do still keep my eyes on though!! I think he enjoys the water more now though!He swam half the distance of the pool!!
He can float on his back so great!!

Hooray for the Graduates!!!

Visiting Chicagoland!!!

Once the beach trip was over Mason headed off on a airplane to Chicago with Ducky and Papa for a week. I was a little sad for him to go, but happy that he was so excited. They flew up there in a airplane and came back home on the train. Mason really enjoyed the train ride! I think he had a great time and so did Ducky and Papa.

Destin, FL 2010

Right at the beginning of June we took a family vacation to Destin, Fl and might I add just in time before the beaches started to get yucky!!! This was Mason and Ava's 3rd and 2nd trip but Abby's 1st. Mason really enjoyed the waves and riding the boogie board. It took Ava a little bit to get used to but once she did ..she had no fear. The waves were a bit stronger than normal but enjoyed it anyway.

Papa rented a Moped to get around for one day and Mason got to ride. He sure did love it!!!

Mason was a natural at the boogie boarding thing. No FEAR!!!

It has become a tradition that when we go to the beach we make sure to take family pictures on the beach...well this time was a little more difficult. Getting three kids to all look at the camera and smile and not play in the sand at the same time is not a easy task. Here are some of what we captured!

Ava had her end of the year graduation/program and the theme this year was cowboys. I had a friend that let me borrow this cute outfit for Ava to wear and she looked totally cute. She sang really well too!!!Can't understand why her friend is crying!!

Abby is 1

Abby turned one on May 15, 2009. She had her 12 month check up and shots. She did great. She weighs 18lbs., 28 inches long and her head circumference is 43.5. Because our weight is not at 20lbs. we can not turn forward facing in the car seat. We were so hoping that we could. She would much rather be looking forward. But we will have to weight. We are no longer on baby food and no longer on formula. She is doing great. We did find out though that she is allergic to eggs. So we have to be careful with that. She is truly a blessing and a joy. She is always so happy and content to play by herself, unless that is when one of her older siblings come and mess it up.
