Visiting with Grandma Pitre

The kids and I went to DeRidder this past weekend while Josh, Huck, and Mr. Corey went fishing. It was wonderful. We really enjoyed the time we got to spend with Grandma Pitre. Sometimes it is really hard to enjoy that time with her during the holidays and all of the other family is around. We also got to spend time with Gamma...of course that was fun. Thanks Gamma for coming to DeRidder and playing with us!!!

Field Trip

Mason went to the Waddil Wildlife Refuge park for his field trip Friday. they got to fish with cane poles in stocked ponds. Mason had so much fun that he wants he Daddy to take him back to catch some fish. He was a lot more patient than I expected him to be. Maybe we have a fisherman on our hands. Maybe that boat in the backyard will be ready by the time he want s to go fishing!!!

Mason's Sleep Over

Mason's friend Ian came and stayed the night last weekend for the first time. They really had fun. i think Mason's really enjoyed it ..except for Ava. She just wanted to be wherever they are all of the time. I guess that is what Mason has to look forward to when he is older and hanging out with his friends.

Hooray for Ava!!!

We finally were able to get Ava's pictures taken and she did great. WE have recently had some other greats from her....To start off she has been going 5 days now with out her "nunu"!!!! The first two days were a little rough to get her to sleep but, since then she has been doing great. She doesn't ask for it now. We are also in the process of potty training. i had decided that I would wait for her to decide since she is so stubborn...well in the past couple of days she has been asking to go to the potty and is getting better and better. I wanted to wait for after Disney but if she is ready, then I am ready too!!!!!
