Water Balloons

The Easter Bunny brought Mason a container of water balloons in his Easter basket this year and he has been begging to play with them. I kept telling him that we had to wait until it got a little warmer and when Daddy was home. Because you know Josh wants to play with water balloons too!!!

josh and Mason decided to throw them at the fence, but not sure why Ava is facing the other direction. I think she was plotting to get the two of them!!!

What fun you can have with a laundry basket!!!

Mason and Ava would go from one side of the house to the other in this laundry basket...for about an hour. Ava was constantly laughing and Mason thought it was the greatest thing!!!!

The big change...Big Girl Bed!!

On Monday we decided to start Ava in her big Girl bed for naps. That evening we were planning on putting her back in the crib to make the transition a little easier. She decided that Monday night she was not going to lay in the crib anymore. Every since she has been in the twin bed. We ask her where her bed is and she points to this one. It has been going great except for one night she was up alot, but I don't think it was because of her bed. Taking her first nap in her bed!!!

32 1/2 weeks and counting!

Yes...Time is flying by. I am trying to get as much as I can done so tht I don't have to worry with it in May. THere are so many other things going on I just want this be ready. 32 1/2 weeks

Huckabee/Pitre Tradition

Ava only wanted to pock eggs with herself. She would take 2 eggs and bash them together. I don't think she wanted anyone else to break her egg!

Ava's Egg Hunt @ The Little School

She did great looking for eggs. She would set her bucket down and go get the eggs and then come put them in her bucket. I had to watch the bucket in case of other kids. I guess she thought it would be too heavy to carry. Such a girl!!

I have a BIG helper on my hands...

This morning after we all were dressed and waiting to go to school, Ava decided to get one of her diapers and her baby (that she never plays with) and start to change her diaper. I couldn't believe it because she has never messed with her babies before now. Maybe since we have been putting alot of attention on the fact that we are going to have a baby. It was just too cute.She was concentrating very hard.

Last monthly Appointment

I went to my last monthly doctor visit today. now I start going every two weeks. I can't believe that we are already to this point. Where has the time gone. i have gained two pounds in the last month and the doc said that i am measuring on the small end of the scale but that every is fine. I told him it was because I am constantly chasing 2 kiddos around all the time. He also told me that we are going to have another ultrasound in two weeks. I can't wait ...I was surprise that we were going to do another one. only 8 1/2 weeks to go. It will be here before we know it. He also scheduled a tentative induction date...May 27 or 28. Sounds great to me!!!!

Soccer Party

Mason had is end of the season soccer party on Monday at a local pizza place in Zachary. The kids had a blast and enjoyed eating pizza and getting their trophies. Mason was so excited to get his trophy. I can't believe that the first year of soccer is over..it flew by so fast.Eating Pizza and enjoying time with his soccer friends.
